Paul Donelan, B.A., B.Ed., CUI Level III Challenge Course Instructor, R.Y.T

Paul is a partner in Dancing Creek: Adventures in Balance Inc. He has taught elementary school for more than 15 years. Paul has facilitated many groups over the years in adventure settings and has a special gift for reaching “hard to serve” children and youth. Paul brings enthusiasm and creativity to his groups whether in a boardroom, on a ropes course or in the yoga studio. While Paul is teaching, parenting, practicing yoga or constructing Dancing Creek he is dreaming of a world where everyone lives in harmony with Mother Earth.

Laura Donelan, B.A., M.S.W., R.S.W., CUI Level II Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor

Laura is a partner in Dancing Creek: Adventures in Balance Inc. She has worked as a school social worker for more than 12 years. Laura has facilitated groups in a variety of treatment settings that utilized adventure therapy. It is her belief and practice that in order to achieve desired change, individuals must be nurtured and challenged in varying degrees. While Laura works, parents and facilitates social/spiritual connections she dreams that all children will grow up in a world that is healthy, peaceful and interesting.

Wendy Csinos B.A., C.Y.W., M.Ed., CUI Level I Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor

Wendy has been working with children with specialized needs for the past 14 years. She has supported both children and adults with physical, mental, emotional and behavioural needs in a variety of settings. Recently she returned to school to complete her Masters of Science in Childhood Education to enter the teaching field. She believes that children deserve to be valued for their strengths and encouraged to use those strengths to overcome challenges.

Raymond Wiersma, B.A. Soc., B. Ed., CUI Level I Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor

Ray has been counselling, teaching and supporting children and families for 15 years. His background includes working in specialized settings where he has supported gifted children as well as those with learning and behavioural challenges. In his work as a group facilitator and elementary school teacher, Raymond uses experiential learning, humour and universal compassion to motivate and inspire his students. He believes in the potential of all people to make a positive difference in the world by uncovering their natural gifts.

 

Rachel Wiebe , B.A., B.Ed., CUI Level I Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor

Rachael is new to the teaching profession and she brings an enthusiasm and heart for working with children. She believes each child requires encouragement and needs to be nurtured in order to help them develop their own identity and reach their potential. Rachael continues to be amazed at the ability of children to collaborate with others to achieve what initially seemed impossible on their own. While Rachael teaches and continues to learn more about the world around her, she also hopes to see a world where every child has an opportunity to shine and make the world a better place using their talents and abilities.

Katie Black, R.Y.T.

Katie Black is a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and Kripalu YogaDance Teacher. She has a passion for life and the healing arts and has committed her life to exploring and offering to others. Her journey has taken her across the Pacific and throughout North America. She ventured to Hong Kong, her place of peace, where she taught English to children ages 3-13. Massachusetts helped her explore her heart and her creative side. And recently in New York City Katie completed her Thai Yoga Bodywork Certification. She loves to explore our wonderful planet, and more then anything has a spirit for life that gives her limitless energy and joy!! Her prayer is that she continues to inspire and contribute to a world of peace, happiness and joy! She currently works in London Ontario at Nature's Secrets Holistic Center and teaches yoga in London and Tillsonburg
